LONGHOLES HISTORY
Longholes Stud was originally part of Sir George and Lady Bullough’s estate's. The estate also comprised of Ashley Heath Stud and Warren Hill Studs. When Lady Monica Bullough died at the age of 98 in 1967, Ashley Heath and Warren Hill Studs were sold and Longholes Stud was retained for their only daughter, Lady Hermione Durham. The Stud remains in the family and is now owned by her son The Hon John G. Lambton, former owner of the well known filly “Wake Up Maggie”.
